I would have never thought that Sam & Max, of all things, would get me interested in psychology. But ever since the ending of The City That Dares Not Sleep, I’ve been fascinated by the concepts of and relationship between id and superego.

Despite being a fan of some pairings in the series, I hope they never have any romance for Sam & Max themselves in the series that isn’t played up for gags and quickly thrown aside. Serious stuff would ruin the dynamic between the two.
